Amaryllis ‘Samba’ (Hippeastrum hybrid)
Big and bold, ‘Samba’s red and white ruffled flowers are a visual delight. The rounded, scarlet-red petals are edged in white with a white throat. The flowers look similar to ‘Prelude,’ one of our all-time favorite amaryllis varieties that we no longer have available. The extra-large (32-34 cm) Dutch-grown bulb usually produces two 20” flower stalks with 4 blooms each. Expect the bulb to flower in 10-12 weeks. Shipped in a decorative white tin pot measuring 7” w x 6” h with a PVC liner.
