Beehive Ginger (Zingiber spectabile)

Unique red and yellow flowers, resembling a honeycomb, bloom during the July through November season. The long-lasting flowers emerge directly from the ground on short stems. The lance-shaped foliage grows 3-4’ tall in containers. This unusual ginger makes quite a conversation piece!
