To our surprise, Climbing Bauhinia makes a wonderful container plant with staking or support. The showy blooms emerge on the tips of new growth opening yellow and darkening to a deep orange. The more sun the better, preferring 60ÂșF lows, although it will tolerate temperatures into the 30s for short periods.
