Deua Flame Grevillea (Grevillea rhyolitica)
Perfect for the container, this low growing Australian native, is almost always in bloom and when grown as a potted plant, it never gets very large. We have seen it used in landscaping in southern zones where it creates an attractive flowering border that grows to 2â-3â in height. Clusters of red flowers hang from the delicate branches like pendent jewels. Like all grevilleas, Deua Flame needs an acid soil and low levels of fertilizer. Grevilleas are intolerant to phosphorus fertilizer.
