Fatsia ‘Spider’s Web’ (Fatsia hybrid)
Fatsia ‘Spider’s Web’ is a desirable Japanese selection with large, variegated, palmate leaves and heavy white speckling and streaks that start at the leaf edges and migrate throughout the leaf. Named by Japanese plant experts Dr. Yokoi and Mr. Hirose, it can take a few years for the characteristics to become fully consistent, but our young plants are already showing interesting variegations. Often grown outside in the south, ‘Spider’s Web’ also makes a wonderful houseplant that instantly adds exotic character to your home. It makes an ideal plant for a partially shady location with the added benefit of being pest and disease resistant.
