This beautiful bi-color tropical hibiscus has significant color pattern variations on the same plant. Since we have been growing ‘Frosted Lipstick’ we have seen large, 6” red flowers with white splashes throughout the petals and a burgundy heart. If grown in full sun outdoors, the flowers tend to have a much larger percentage of white within the red petals. In low light conditions during the wintertime, the flowers have been pink with white splashes on the petals and a burgundy heart. With its multitude of flower colors, ‘Frosted Lipstick’ will surprise and delight the gardener.
