A rare find that originates from Sri Lanka, Impatiens grandis ‘Rosa’ has outstanding orchid-like flowers with red coloration streaked across the pink petals. The 2” blossoms appear at the tops of the tall branches and when not in bloom, its oversized leaves make for a lush foliage plant. The leaves are olive green on the top with a striking burgundy underside. Impatiens grandis ‘Rosa’ can grow to 5’ tall and although an intermittent bloomer, it produces flowers in the dead of winter when color is needed most.
