The color of the flower depends on ambient temperature and day length and the colors often change as the flower ages. It’s a reliable bloomer during the spring and fall but it can bloom up to 3 times a year when grown in good light. There are usually 2-3 sweetly fragrant flowers per spike that last 3 weeks. Since the flowers are large, the spike may need staking. This is a near blooming size plant that should flower on the next growth.
