Rosemary Bonsai (Rosemary prostratus)

Rosemary Bonsai (Rosemary prostratus)

Here’s a wonderful plant to grow on the deck or patio for the summer garden. Rosemary Bonsai is planted in a 6” bonsai pot (assorted shapes and colors). The one-year-old plants have been trained with wire and pruned by one of our Logee’s growers. Clusters of light blue flowers appear intermittently throughout the year. You can harvest sprigs of rosemary during the summer months. The wonderful scent of rosemary is released every time the needles are touched. Its lateral growth habit makes it an ideal bonsai specimen. Give full sun and fertilize during the active growing season. Although rosemary generally likes it dry, when grown in a bonsai pot, it’s best to water daily in warm temperatures before the plant wilts.
