Ruby Necklace (Othonna capensis)

Ruby Necklace is a trailing succulent characterized by thin oval leaves and attractive reddish-purple stems. Also known as the String of Pickles, its tiny yellow flowers bloom intermittently throughout the year. To get the best coloration of the purple stems be sure to give bright, indirect light; early morning sun is best. Similar to most succulents, dry out the soil between waterings. Display in a hanging basket or pot where the stems can trail over the pot’s edge.
